Galiano's Off the Green is a true island getaway, overlooking the golf course, surrounded by 3/4 acre of cedar trees and lush green foliage.
Off the Green is centrally located - walking distance to restaurants, entertainment, grocery stores and a beautiful beach. A short drive will take you to one of the Southern Gulf Islands' best beaches at Montague Provincial Park or if you prefer hiking, to the bottom of Mt Galiano, where 45 minutes later, you are treated to an amazing view of all the Gulf Islands, Vancouver and Vancouver Island, as well as the San Juan Islands in Washington State.
The multi-level decks and patio give lots of space to entertain or just to sit in the sun, (even in the winter) read a good book or watch the many varieties of birds at the birdfeeders. Hummingbirds have called Off the Green their summer home for 4 years, and seeing them fold their tiny wings and eat at their feeders is not to be missed. If you are very quiet you will see deer wandering freely about the property. Oh - and did I mention we have a hot tub? Great for night-time star-gazing!
During the cool Galiano fall and winter, you can curl up in front of 1 of 2 fireplaces and watch the trees sway in the wind and the sun stream in through the picture windows, or watch a movie from our video library (we have some children's ones ,too!).
